Very welcoming! The lady who was serving us is bilingual. She is very helpful as it was our first time to try cheese fondue, raclette and valais. We ordered a little bit of everything. The owner is very friendly. He told us the business is already in its 26th years. For sure will go back.

This is a more interesting restaurant than regular dinner, at least to my own experience in traveling. The hospitality here is top notch, there's really nothing to complain about. The owner is very tentative and friendly, so as the staffs. We had the La raclette" menu

It was my birthday not so long ago and I was craving raclette.... which brought us to Meule et Caquelon. Reservations are highly recommended especially for their special nights (check their menu for weekly specials). The restaurant is pretty big and can accommodate for groups. It has the swiss Alps mark all over it, featuring wood and traditional" costumes for the staff. Each table comes with its own exhaust fan

One of my favourite restaurants! Atmosphere, staff, and food are all incredible! My parents are regulars, and it's my go-to on any and every special occasion! Absolutely love coming here!

Delightful restaurant decor and very kind service, but the food takes a very long time to come. I waited 1.5 hours for a fondue for one person. They also forgot that I ordered some extras from the menu, which I wasn’t going to question after waiting so long for any food to arrive. The fondue was ok, but fairly average. A nice place to visit for the experience, but make sure you allow a lot of time, bring your patience, and enjoy the experience and kind staff, rather than expecting gourmet dining.

Wonderful meal! They brought us out a salad to start with and honestly the homemade sauce was the best dressing I've ever had on a salad. We had the La Raclette meal and the fondue. Our server recommended a very nice fruity cocktail made with a fruit beer and it was delicious! It was fun to grill our own meats and veggies to our preferences. The staff and owner were very helpful and gave an explanation on how to enjoy our meal with the spices and sauces provided. Wish we had something in the states like this. Definitely a must if you are in the area.
