Canthooks is a beautiful space with delicious food, specializing in cuisine from Switzerland. The owner served us herself with her beautiful friendly smile. The food was made in-house and rivals the best I've had in much more expensive restaurants. You'll be happy you came.

Husband and I had dinner there tonight for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised, the bratwurst and schnitzel dish were delicious and the coconut cheese cake to die for. Good comfort food. The host was very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely go back next time we're in the bogie.

There was a band playing traditional Swiss folk songs when we came in, it felt like we were in another country. The server promptly showed us to our seat and took our orders. Prices of the food were just right. It was flavorful. I like how they cooked the Sirloin Steak (Med. Rare). The Black Forrest cake was a bit dry. I wanted it to be moist.

So we are staying at the resort where this restaurant is attached and for whatever reason we weren't expecting much. The owner is Swiss and they serve Swiss food and let me tell you, the food was incredible quality! So much love in the food and everything was from scratch. Absolutely delicious Schnitzel: no dry puck of meat, this was juicy and tasty. Desert was amazing, burger was juicy and made in house. SOLID. Oh and two mains one app and desert was $60. IMPRESSED

After reading some bad reviews i was skeptical. As I wanted to really treat my wife for her birthday. In the end we decided to go regardless.First of all, just to make it crystal clear. I can’t agree with any of the bad reviews...We did have a problem though, as we could not agree on which was better, the food, the service or the view! All three was spectacular!Amazing experience will recommend to anyone!

Iris and her team are a shining example of a superb customer service along with great display of scrumptious European food. I can't recall when was the last time I've experienced such a prompt service in the restaurant in our province. Menu is simple which definitely sets the restaurant for ultimate success. Restaurant's decor is a reflection of warm German and Swiss heritage that has been nicely complimented by its delicious cuisine. Thank you for making our 30th wedding anniversary quite special.❤

This was our first time dining at the Canthooks restaurant. The experience was pretty fantastic! The service by the restaurant owner, Iris, was fast, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere sitting outside on the mountain facing patio was gorgeous on a summer evening! For food we had the mussels, schnitzel with vegetables and salad and cordon bleu with spatzle and jaeger sauce as well as Black Forest cake. It was all super tasty and very well prepared. I was very impressed with how hot the plates were. We would definitely come here again.Photo note:** Under that beautiful schnitzel you see on the plate were the super summer vegetables.

GREAT SWISS DINING. We visited Canthooks during our short ski-vacation. Great wine menu, fantastic appetizers, main courses and dessert. One minor drawback, the restaurant does not really have an European or Swiss atmosphere. However, the service from Iris, the owner, was very attentive and I loved the very tasty Mushroom Gnocchi.
